The PHP meetup Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar is organizing another meetup on February 29th in Mannheim, at the bitExpert office.

The 2024 meetup series will kick off with a special event featuring guest speaker Andreas Heigl, who will talk about calendars. He will explore the history of calendars, their importance, and the challenges they pose for developers. The talk promises to be captivating and insightful.

The second slot will include a talk about FrankenPHP - the modern PHP application server - by Boas Falke. Boas has gained first-hand experience with FrankenPHP in a recent bitExpert project, and he will share his findings with the attendees. This session will be particularly interesting for those who want to learn how to transform their PHP applications into a binary and distribute that to a customer.
