Announcing bitexpert/phpstan-sylius 0.4.0

I recently finalized some idle features and am excited to announce the 0.4.0 release of our phpstan-sylius extension.

This extension enhances PHPStan's understanding of Sylius and its Sylius Stack components. Initially, a small experiment at a hackathon, it has evolved into an essential tool for every Sylius plugin and project we undertake.

The latest release includes several key improvements:

  • Compatibility with Grid Bundle Versions: Ensures the plugin works seamlessly with both versions 1.15 and 1.16 of the Grid bundle.
  • Enhanced Grid Field and Filter Detection: Improves detection in the new GridMutator functionality, checking if field and filter names are part of the resource entity.
  • Resource Factory Validation: A new rule checks if the configured resource factory exists and if the specified factory method is callable.
  • Custom Provider and Processor Validation: Additional rules verify the existence of configured custom providers and custom processors.

To try out the phpstan-sylius extension, install the latest version via Composer:

composer.phar require --dev bitexpert/phpstan-sylius
