While working on a PHPStan extension at a hackathon last month, I had some issues with the code completion for PHPStan classes in PHPStorm.

In preparation for the Sylius hackathon last week in Cologne, I wondered what project I could work on. I had a few topics on my mind. In the end, I decided to work on a PHPStan extension for Sylius.

Last week, I visited Cologne to join the Sylius hackathon organized by our friends from WilMa Digital.

Being a huge fan of PHPStan I regularly check what extensions exist and how they can help us to improve our code.

I have to admit, I am not the best at editing neon configuration files. I regularly mess that up and then things break. How to fix that? Well, why not lint those files in the CI pipeline?

Yesterday, we released version 0.30.0 of our bitexpert/phpstan-magento extension for PHPStan.

We've just released a new version of our bitexpert/phpstan-magento extension for PHPStan.

A few tools, e.g. PHPStan Pro make use of the phpstorm:// protocol to be able to open files directly from your console with a click of a button.

It has taken a while but finally, our phpstan-magento extension for PHPStan got a new release.
