On the 14th of September, the PHP meetup Frankfurt will meet again in person. This will be our 22+ year birthday party and include a BBQ sponsored by the Y1 folks. Thanks!

This wouldn't be a PHPUGFFM meetup if there were no talks scheduled. As always, we have prepared 2 great talks for you: Boas & Holger from bitExpert will be talking about the experiences and learnings migrating the backend part of a legacy Single Page Application to Symfony and API Platform. The why and how of this journey is shared, and they'll cover how the resulting application was turned into an installable executable for easier distribution.

Also, we are joined by Sebastian Feldmann, who will guide us through 22+ years of PHP history and will give us an outlook on the new features that will be shipped with PHP 8.3 in November 2023.
