However, if the item dates back further, its relevance may have diminished and our current evaluation could vary. Adopt
DevOps practices combine software development and IT operations to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery to achieve higher software quality.
Having IT operations being part of the development teams is a strategy we have had since day 1 of the company, mostly due to being a small team back then. These days it still makes sense to follow that approach as it guarantees that the development infrastructure setup is close to production and that developers pay close attention to what they do and require.
