Traefik Enterprise
Traefik Enterprise is part of our internal infrastructure, allowing us to easily expose our services to the public.
Besides using TraefikEE for our own IT infrastructure, we are using Traefik Open-Source for most of our customer projects due to its flexibility.
Traefik Enterprise is a unified cloud-native networking solution that brings API management, ingress control, and Service Mesh all together in one simple control plane.
Traefik is an edge router that makes it easy to publish services. Traefik supports a variety of backends e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Nomad, and more. Traefik is extremely flexible to configure and since Traefik version 2 it does not only support HTTP requests but basically any TCP connection. Having built-in support for Let's Encrypt is a bonus as well as the OIDC capabilities which allow securing applications with an external authentication source.
We are not only using Traefik for local development but running it in production for our own IT infrastructure as well as for some instances of our customers.
