Sylius

With Sylius 2.0 released in November 2024, the platform proves again to be a good bet for our projects.

With the 2.0 release, Sylius moved even closer to the Symfony framework, e.g. by migrating to the Symfony Workflow component. Also, the Sylius team decided to release their most important building blocks as a separate solution called Sylius stack, which you can easily integrate and use in any Symfony application. This complements our strategy to mix and match Symfony-based solutions for our projects, helping us develop our customer projects smoothly and consistently.

To further evolve and develop our relationship with Sylius, we became a Professional Solution Partner in 2023.

Sylius is an open-source PHP e-commerce framework built on top of the Symfony framework and the API Platform solution.

Being part of the Symfony ecosystem and built on top of API Platform is what makes Sylius an interesting option to evaluate further. Being able to use Twig for server-side rendering or React via APIs exposed by API Platform matches perfectly our current tech stack. The ability to connect Sylius with Sulu CMS is an additional bonus for us.
