Spring is an open-source application framework for the Java platform which has become popular as an addition to the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) model.
We've been using Spring for over a decade now and have a good relationship with some Spring core & Spring Data developers. Spring allows us to build Java applications quickly as it includes a range of modules out-of-the-box covering AOP, Authentication, Data access, Messaging, and more.
