Finally, an offline conference again and then my first Magento UC in Cologne. It was again organized by FireGento e.V. and moderated by Fabian Blechschmidt and Rico Neitzel.
France is more than just cheese, wine, and the Eiffel Tower. Our neighbors know not only how to develop excellent PHP Frameworks, but also how to organize awesome conferences!
A part of our PHP-Team took the chance to attend the API Platform Conference 2022 in person, which took place in Lille (France).
After my first in-person event this year, I am quite happy to be able to speak again on a stage in front of "real people"(tm) at a conference in September.
Meet Magento UK went virtual for the past two years as most conferences did, but in 2022 they are back with an in-person, all-day conference again. YEAH!
On the 24th and the 25th of January 2020 I was able to go to the PHPBenelux Conference in Antwerpen. It is a community-driven technology conference. As the name implies it is mostly about PHP and related topics. It was the first conference I visited besides our very own unconference at bitExpert. Therefore I was very excited and did not know at all what to expect.
On the 6th of December, I was given the opportunity to attend my first React Day in Berlin. It is one of the largest React focussed conferences in the world, with ~500 attendees this year.
On 13 April 2018 we visited the React Amsterdam conference. The conference took place in the Kromhouthal, Amsterdam and is the biggest React conference worldwide. Two tracks were offered: General and React native.
Last weekend, I visited the PHPBenelux Conference 2018. I experienced a very well organized event with a wide range on interesting topics. As expected there were many PHP focused sessions like "Advanced debugging techniques" (Patrick Allaert), "How PHP ticks" (Sara Golemon) or "Disco – A fresh look at DI" (Stephan Hochdörfer). But also broader issues which are interesting, too. I visited "Go for PHP Developers" (Terrence Ryan) and "Learning Machine Learning" (Joel Lord) and many more. Besides, the official talks there was always an opportunity to have interesting conversations or challenging some fun games. It can only recommend to visit the tenth jubilee next year.
This year, I attended the reasons.to conference in Brighton, UK.
