It's time for another update to our Techradar, where we share our latest thoughts and strategies on our key technology-focused areas. It's been a year since our last update, and we're excited to share the changes and advancements we've made.

For the past three years, we've maintained a consistent schedule of publishing at least one blog post every week. As we approach our blog's 20th anniversary in October this year, we think it's time for an upgrade.

We last updated our Techradar one year ago. This means today, it's time for another update with our latest thoughts and strategies regarding our key technology focus.

We love Docusaurus! The platform has powered our blog for about 2.5 years and made it easier than ever to contribute and publish articles.

Since mid of 2022, we've been using Docusaurus as blogging platform. In general, we are happy Docusaurus users, although it comes with a few limitations due to the nature of a static site generator.

When we migrated to Docusaurus in 2022, we were looking for options what consent management tool to use and how to integrate it into our Docusaurus setup.

Since last year, we have been using the Technology Radar solution built by AOE to power the bitExpert TechRadar.

One year ago, we shared our initial Techradar version with you. Today, it is time for an update and to highlight what has changed.

I can't really recall when we started blogging initially, but we rebooted the bitExpert back in October of 2006, and ever since we migrated all content to newer blogging platforms. Back in the days we used b2evolution as blogging platform, moved to Wordpress, moved to Silverstripe Blog, and finally last year transitioned to Docusaurus.

In this blog post, I've covered how our CI setup looks like to test, build and deploy Docusaurus on our Nomad cluster. However, the blog post was missing the Nomad configuration, which we'll cover in this blog post in detail.
